Christie Patricia Rampone (born Christie Patricia Pearce, June 24, 1975) is an American association football player and a member of the United States women's national soccer team. [edit] International career
Rampone made her national team debut in 1997. In the 1998 Goodwill Games she helped the United States win gold by starting in both matches. In 2000, she helped the United States win silver at the Summer Olympic Games. In the next Summer Olympics she helped the United States win gold in what would be the final games for a few of her teammates, including Mia Hamm.
Her current 176 international appearances is second only to teammate Kristine Lilly among all active players in the world. Only two men and nine women have ever played in more international matches.
