Christian Rynning-Tønnesen

Christian Wilhelm Rynning-Tønnesen (born 1959) is a Norwegian businessperson and since 2006 CEO of Norske Skog.

Rynning-Tønnesen is educated at the Norwegian Institute of Technology with a MSC in Engineering, and worked as researcher at SINTEF (1984-84), engineer at Esso (1985-89), consultant at McKinsey & Company (1989-92), and then at Statkraft (1992-2005) with various positions, ending up as Vice President of Finance. On April 1, 2005 he started working for Norske Skog, and became CEO on June 6, 2006.[1]
