Christian Feest

Christian Feest (born July 20, 1945) is one of the foremost European experts on North American Indians and editor of the Review of Native American Studies (since 1987). Born in Braunau, today Broumov, Czech Republic, Feest was professor of ethnology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main and since 2004 has been director of the Museum für Völkerkunde (Museum of Ethnology) in Vienna. He is the brother of Gerhard Gleich and Johannes Feest.
