Christian de Jesús Bermúdez Gutiérrez "El Hobbit" (born 26 April 1987 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican football (soccer) player. As of July 2007, he was moved to the position of Forward, Atlante. Bermúdez is a very skillful midfielder, despite being quite short football player at 1.63 m (5 ft 4 in). On April 10, 2008 Christian "Hobbit" Bermúdez was selected to the National Team representing Mexico on it's journey to qualify for the World Cup South Africa in 2010.

Odín Patiño Bermúdez (UNAM-Pumas) and Christian are first cousins. Odín, was also a member of the U-20 Mexican National Team.
