[edit] Biography

He arrived in Hong Kong to continue his football career since 2004. Unfortunately, he arrived at a wrong timing which most clubs in the First Division had already finished their foreign player signing, so he joined Eastern AA, a Second Division club instead.

With 14 goals in 11 matches, including a hat trick against Tai Po FC, Annan successfully drawn the attention from his originally opponent. When Tai Po FC has successfully obtained their promotion status after 2005–06 season, they signed Annan immediately.

Although he didn't have the same impact in front of goal as he has been in Second Division, Annan bagged 6 goals in 21 matches and become Wofoo Tai Po's top scorer (along with defender Joel) which helped the team avoiding relegation successfully. His performance can also be proved as he was selected into the Hong Kong League XI and played in Lunar New Year Cup 2007. With a brief appearance only in the first match against Jamaica, Annan started in the next match against Australia U-23, fouled in the box which gained a penalty for his team and finally equalized (scored by Keith Gumbs) in the end of the match.

His contribution on Wofoo Tai Po was further proved: he was selected into the squad of the year in the 2006–07 Hong Kong Footballer Awards.
