Christopher Alan "Chris" Smith (born 30 June 1981 in Derby, England) is a professional footballer, currently playing for Conference North side Tamworth, where he plays as a defender.
[edit] Career
Smith began his career at Reading, before moving onto York City. He was not offered a new deal with York at the end of the 2002–03 season, but hoped to sill have a future at the club.[1] He agreed a new 12-month deal in July 2003 after the decision for him to be released was reversed.[2] He was eventually released by the club in April 2004 at the end of the 2003–04 season.[3] Smith joined Worcester City from fellow Conference North side Stafford Rangers.
