Having spent his childhood as a professional footballer for Arsenal, Chris was introduced to House Music by "SAMBA LA CASA" Partner Pablo Martinez in 2000. While pursuing a full time career in music, Chris made appearances in the movie Ali G Indahouse and on UK TV in Footballers' Wives & Family Affairs.
He started full time in music by managing a number of DJ's in the UK, then moved onto assistant promotions manager at Virgin UK V:C Recordings in West London, before moving to Release the Groove record store in London's West End as Head House Buyer. It was here he secured his monthly Article in "RWD" magazine where he interviews & reviews the worlds best, for over 35,000 readers. Chris now co writes a monthly music page "FLAXSAMBA" in Thailand 's Top Clubbing Guide "HYPE MAGAZINE " including reviews, charts & interviews.
Chris performed the first Soulful House Set b2b with Terry Hunter at Ministry of Sound in Taipei, Taiwan and was the first DJ to play a house set in Cambodia. On Christmas Eve 2005, Chris played b2b with Yoruba Records legend Osunlade. Currently, he holds international residencies at Mint Bar in Koh Samui, Thailand & Dragon-I in Hong Kong.
He has co-produced tracks that hit, top 10 in USA billboard on Chicago Label Vinyl Soul, Number 41 in the UK Charts & remixed the likes of Donell Jones, Angie Stone, Mary J Blige & Jocelyn Brown.
At the start of 2006, Chris was appointed as Director of Music for Hong Kong's exclusive night spot Dragon-i. He has been responsible for bringing a number of famous worldwide artists to Asia including: Jazzy Jeff, Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Dimitri From Paris, DJ Premier, Terry Hunter, Barbara Tucker, Michelle Weeks, Byron Stingily, Ron Carroll, Paul Trouble Anderson, Bob Sinclar, DJ Gregory, Quentin Harris, Danny Krivit, and Julie Mcknight.
