Chris Lindsay (baseball)

Christian Haller Lindsay (July 24, 1878 - January 25, 1941), nicknamed "Pinky" or "The Crab," was a Major League Baseball who played for the Detroit Tigers in 1905 and 1906. Born in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, Lindsay played 210 of his 229 major league games as a first baseman for the Tigers. He had a career batting average of .242 with an on base percentage of .301. Lindsay died in 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1906, Lindsay had 25 sacrifice hits, 9th in the American League.
