Chris Harris (born 19 February[1] or 22 February[2] 1948) is a Texas politician and attorney. He was a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 1985 to 1991 and has been a member of the Texas Senate since 1991, representing District 9. He is a former acting governor of Texas.
