Chris Hajt

Chris Hajt (born July 5, 1978 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman and the son of former NHLer Bill Hajt.
Born in Canada and raised in Western New York when his father was a member of the Buffalo Sabres, Hajt was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 32nd overall in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft after playing junior hockey with the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He became an excellent defenceman in his junior career with the Storm. Hajt has yet to make any notable impression in the National Hockey League, playing in only six games, one with the Oilers during the 2000–2001 season, the other five with the Washington Capitals in the 2003–2004 season, and has yet to record a point in the NHL.
Hajt is currently a member of Hockey Club Bolzano of the Serie A.
