Chris Breen

Christopher Breen is a writer and editor whose professional career has been spent covering Apple Computer's Apple Macintosh computers and related technologies. In addition to his technology career, Breen is also a musician who has performed professionally for two decades. He is currently a senior editor at Mac Publishing, the publishers of the U.S. edition of Macworld. His "Mac 911" column appears monthly in that magazine. He also hosts the Macworld Podcast and writes a weblog about the iPod for Mac Publishing's Playlist web site.
Before working at Macworld, Breen was contributing editor and Help Desk columnist for the U.S. edition of MacUser magazine.
Breen is the author of numerous technology books, including Secrets of the iPod, The iPod and iTunes Pocket Guide, Mac 911, and My iMac.
He lives in Northern California with his wife and daughter, and has bought exactly 32 iPods.
Technology writer and broadcaster Leo Laporte often refers to Breen as "The Bouffant of Knowledge."
