Chrast (IPA: [ˈxrast]) is a town in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. Its population was 3,186 as of 28. August 2006.
Villages Chacholice, Podlažice and Skála are administrative parts of Chrast.
Podlažice is the site of Podlažice monastery, where the "Devil's Bible" was created in the 13th century. The monastery was destroyed by Hussites in the early 15th century.
