[edit] Summary

Source is from the mapping utility of the Auckland Regional Council.

Express Consent was gained from Phil Barlow of the GIS Department.

The image shows the location(s) in which a carved tree stump and stone adze was found buried under layers of volcanic sediment - supposedly earlier than polynesian civilizations settled NZ.

It is rumoured that the stump now resides somewhere in the depths of the Auckland Museum.
