[edit] Giroro sharpshooter

Hi Chininazu12, thanks for your hard work. Just for my own curiosity -- Japanese term 狙撃兵 (sogekihei) translates to "sharpshooter" in English, but in the US military, the marksman-sharpshooter-expert all denote differences. In the British military, marksman denotes the highest. I don't think the Imperial Japanese Army made a distinction other than straight ranking from #1 on down. So how would it be best translated to denote the best? Use #1 shooter? Thanks.--Spotlessmomo (talk) 19:00, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
