[edit] Allosaur or stegosaur?

Re the accuracy tag: One source: http://www.dinoruss.org/de_4/5a6577e.htm says "was very similar in appearance to Allosaurus"

but another one http://www.dinodictionary.com/dinos_cpg2.asp has a stegosaurus-like picture. Kappa 23:06, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed merger of Chingkankousaurus page with Tarbosaurus

The Paleobiology Database entry for Tarbosaurus (http://paleodb.org/cgi-bin/bridge.pl?action=checkTaxonInfo&taxon_no=57254) places Chingkankousaurus in the synonymy of Tarbosaurus. Since Chingkankousaurus is synoymous with Tarbosaurus, merge the Chingkankoussaurus page with the Tarbosaurus page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.232.151.49 (talk) 15:45, 22 December 2006 (UTC).

Disagree--the specimen is not diagnositc beyond theropoda, as far as I know. i'd be curious to see the paper and criteria used to assign it to a specific genus like Tarbosaurus. Dinoguy2 18:48, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
