Talk:Chinatown, Las Vegas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article needs quite a bit of work; there are POV issues and poor language.
[edit] NPOV problems
In places this article sounds like it was written by the tourist office - laudatory adjectives, etc. Needs fix. Quercus 17:30, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
- It's a damn near word for word copy/past job from this site: http://www.answers.com/topic/chinatown-las-vegas 68.104.110.86 03:16, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
That's because answers.com is a damn near word for word copy/"past" job from Wikipedia.
- Answers.com often uses Wikipedia as a source for articles, and attributes this openly. Realkyhick 23:21, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fixed?
I did a major edit to make this sound less like an advertisement; I also changed the NPOV tag to an advert tag to properly identify the original problem. I think I toned it down quite a bit. If there are no objections, I'll remove the advert tag in a week or so. Realkyhick 23:33, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'm putting back on the POV tag. Apparently POV adjectives are still here. --Kvasir 23:25, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rewrite?
Anyone live in Vegas and want to rewrite this? It's pretty poor and seems of dubious reliability. Nssdfdsfds 22:25, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
