[edit] What to do with this?

I removed this text as it's not encyclopedic. Does anyone have an idea whether some of it can be salvaged? [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 09:18, Dec 22, 2004 (UTC) MISSION

Our mission is to make accessible science, culture and technology to the Colombian children through “learning by playing” exhibits and to promote intellectual curiosity and the pleasure of learning based on the respect of human values and rights. The Children’s Museum fosters research, creativity and a true understanding of culture, society and values. The Children’s Museum is a non confessional and non political institution.

VISION

Our vision is to be a favorite learning institution for the Colombian children, young and adults, where they find opportunities for knowledge, research, creativity in the areas of science, technology, culture and the arts, and to foster their interest in understanding and improving our world and the Colombian society.

[edit] answer to this question

You do nothing. It seems it was copied directly from the museum's official site or writen by the museum's staff in order to promote the museum (though IMO it doesn't need promotion since along with the Maloka Museum, it's the most recognized interactive museum for children in Colombia.

Since Wikipedia is not a website, but an encyclopedia; you did well in removing that information. Wikipedia is to provide information, not to promote institutions. thank you Minako-Chan* 17:00, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About the HK-749 inside the museum

Could someone mention the fact that there is a HK-749 aircraft from the airliner Avianca inside the museum, accesible for all the children who visit it. here is the reference: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?front=yes&s=1&keywords=museo+bogota
