Description

The first printing press used for mass publication in Chile. It printed the w:La Aurora de Chile.

Caption reads:

"Prensa en que se imprimió «La Aurora de Chile», restaurada sobre la base de algunas piezas que le pertenecieron. Se conserva en el Museo Nacional."

Translation:

"Printing press on which was printed The Aurora de Chile, some parts that belonged to the base were restored. It is kept in the National Museum."
