Chisnallwood Intermediate is the main Intermediate school in the eastern suburbs of Christchurch, New Zealand. The school has a student role of 923 students as of 2007. Facilities include 33 classrooms, a dental clinic (which also serves neighbouring Avondale Primary), and modern office block and library. Over the past year, a state-of-the-art science laboratory, the best of its kind in New Zealand, has been developed as well as the renovations and extension to the school hall, which has also been developed into a gymnasium. The school also owns a premises in Takamatua Bay, Banks Penininsula, which is where class and school camps are held. The camp is named Camp Taylor.
