[edit] Gameplay

[edit] Deal

The first player to draw a seven deals first. He deals 7 cards to each player and reveals the first card of the pot (the uppest one), creating the Shack.

[edit] Round

The not-dealing player (in games with more than two players, it is the player at left of the dealer)may take the uppest card either from the pot or the shack. Later, he must discard a card from his hand. After this, his turns ends. Note that every turn must end with seven cards in each player's hand. Round is over when a player cuts and reveals his tricks. In order to cut, he needs to have completed two tricks or a chomp. Tricks are made as indicated below. If there is no cut and the pot is over, the shack is shuffled and becomes the pot.

[edit] Tricks

Every trick is made of 3 or 4 cards. There are Straight-Tricks and Crate-Tricks. There's also a rare trick called the "Chinchón", that makes the player holding it to win the game instantaneously.

Example of Straight-Trick: 4♥5♥6♥7♥ or 10♠J♠Q♠.

Example of Crate-Trick: 6♦6♥6♣6♠ or K♠K♣K♥

Example of Chinchón: A♠2♠3♠4♠5♠6♠7♠ or 8♥9♥10♥J♥Q♥K♥A♥

[edit] Scoring

When a player cuts, the untricked card (if any) scores positively as its nominal valour (Ex.: 4 scores as 4, 6 scores as 6, 10,J,Q,K and A score always as 10.). If there is no untricked card, the player gets minus 10 points. The untricked cards of the non-cutting player count positively as the untricked cards of the cutting player. If there is no untricked cards in the non-cutting player's hand, he gets 20 points. As said above, the chomp makes the cutting player win. If there is a chomp in the non-cutting player's hand, he is penalized with 50 points.

[edit] Ending

The game is over when a player loses, reaching 100 points, or when a player makes a chomp.
