Chin Hills

The Chin Hills are a range of hills in northwestern Myanmar that extend into India's Manipur state. They are also known as the Arakan Yoma range. The highest peak is Nat Ma Taung (Mount Victoria) which reaches 3,053 meters (10,500 feet), the highest mountain of soil-based peak and only located at Southern Chin, border of Mindat and Kanpatlat townships. It is also known as the sanctuary for birds and wild animal and natural forest. The range is part of the Chin Hills-Arakan Yoma montane forests ecoregion, with diverse forests that include pine and teak. Every year Myanmar Universities of Hiking and Mountaineering Association practice their tracking. [1]More than 50 ethnic groups which use different languages are living at Chin Hills. The Chin Hills are populated by the Zo people.
The Chin Hills connect to the Mizo Hills.
