Childwall School or Childwall Sports College is a secondary school located in the Childwall area of Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It is a mixed secondary school and sixth-form and specialises in sport and P.E. The school has three P.E. lessons a week and a fifty five minute break to keep kids exercising. The school also has a Learing Resource Centre that features books and computers where students can borrow books and complete homework, they can also research information.
The Head Teacher is Mr. D. W. Phillips. Childwall Year 11 achieved 53% 5 A* to C at GCSE.
Childwall Sports College is part of the ‘Fiveways Collaborative’, working with King David High School, Broadgreen High School: A Technology College, St. Francis of Assisi Academy and City of Liverpool Community College. This means a large range of courses is provided for students of all abilities.
They are also intending to work together with a range of partners including Liverpool PCT, Childwall Extended Services, Learning Skills Council, Liverpool John Moores University, Fiveways Learning Network, South Central Liverpool School Sport Partnership and Liverpool Hope University to establish a Trust.
