Children's Press

Children's Press (spelled until 1995 as Childrens Press) is a publishing company originally based in Chicago, Illinois. It is well-known for publishing the Rookie Read-About series.
In 1996, Children's Press became a division of Grolier, which merged with Scholastic Corporation in 2001.
