CPRI is a provincially operated regional resource centre located in London, Ontario, Canada. CPRI provides highly specialized (tertiary) diagnostic assessment, consultation, education, research, and short term treatment services for children/youth (0-18 years) with complex emotional and behavioural disorders, and families who require an integrated, clinical, highly specialized interdisciplinary approach. Clinical Services CPRI accepts referrals for assessment, consultation, and treatment for children and youth (and families) with complex emotional and behavioural disorders. We serve children on a residential and community basis.
Attachment Consultation and Education Services (ACES) Consultation and assessment for children and youth (birth to 18 years) with a focus on disturbances of attachment or attachment disorders and a history of traumatic and/or disruptive life events. The child or youth may also be experiencing difficulties in relationships, behaviours and emotional well being, potentially impacting his or her functioning in home, school, or community contexts. Education, in the form of workshops, resources, and system consultations, is available to the community.
Bipolar Clinic For children and youth (6-18 years) who are suspected of having early onset Bipolar Disorder.
Brake Shop Specialized assessment, treatment, consultation, and community education for children (6 to 18 years) with severe behavioural concerns or intermittent Explosive Disorder, with a diagnosed tic disorder.
Dual Diagnosis For children and youth up to the age of 18 with developmental and psychiatric or behavioural disorders.
Emotional Disorders Assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and education for children and youth (2-18 years) with a developmental delay and mood disorder, anxiety disorder, or psychotic disorder.
Home Visiting Program for Infants Early intervention program (for the counties of Middlesex, Perth, and Huron only) for infants (up to 5 years) and their families who are at risk for or have developmental or physical disabilities.
Homeshare Specialized placement program in which children and youth who are developmentally disabled, medically fragile/technology dependent and/or dually diagnosed, are placed with families on a full-time and long-term basis in the city of London and surrounding counties.
Pervasive Developmental Disorders Program Assessment, treatment, consultation, and support for children and youth up to the age of 18 with a diagnosis of PDD, their families, and the community.
Selective Mutism For children and youth (3-18 years) who have restricted speech in one or more settings for at least two months and have demonstrated capacity for speech.
Sexual Behaviours Comprehensive assessment concerning sexual behaviours for clients at CPRI (can include trauma assessment and sexuality education).
Urgent Response Intervention Short term, urgent admissions of clients in the CPRI catchment area.
