Chiemsee is a municipality in the district of Rosenheim in Bavaria in Germany, named after the lake Chiemsee.
The municipal consists of the two islands Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee. Most of the inhabitants life on the island Frauenchiemsee.
