[edit] Minor point of Confusion

chgrp group target1 [target2 ..] The target parameters indicate the files or directories for which the change should not be made.

I am assuming that target2 would be the one that should not have the changes made. Anyone want to confirm this?

Both are files/dirs that should have the change made. Target2 is optional. This is the corrected text -
  • The target1 parameter indicates the files or directories for which the change should be made.
  • The target2 parameter indicates optional additional files or directories for which the change should be made.
