[edit] Participating in the development of the Wild Rice article

I came across this page while doing some research a few years ago. At that time, I found that this article was a great start on a meaningful topic, but could use some expansion and clarification in some areas. Since then, I have checked the page to see any developments or additions, and currently find myself with some time this spring to devote to participating in the project.

I see some questions raised in earlier discussion that I can clarify; in addition, I am interested in including a detailed life history and ecology of Zizania palustris and Zizania aquatica. This will be my first foray into editing an article and participating in Wikipedia, so please make sure to appraise me of any gaffs, or violations of etiquette I may unwillingly commit. Meanwhile, I will be monitoring the article discussion pages as I draft some edits, and will post them over the next month.

It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

• • ok-not sure how i uploaded the first two photos the same way that i did the next two without getting this notice- they are my photos, no copyright to get permission, but i think i fixed it???
