I'm still new to wikipedia so I won't do it myself, however I'd really appreciate it if you would look into restarting the Afd on Sino-American War. It clearly doesnt belong on wikipedia and is an even more outrageous case of crystal ball than the Iran War page. Thanks. --Westolly 14:55, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Dear Cheif Captain,

Thank you for being a member of WikiProject Swimming. For all of you that have helped in our first week, thank you so much. This has been a very hard week for us in the States, with the Virginia Tech event. This project has been a way for me to remove my mind from the terrible event. Thank you for helping out, and improving the project. Please keep the motivation going in the next few weeks, and try to recruit as many swimmers, divers, water dancers and polo players as you can. Be proud of your sport!

Hi, Chief Captain! I just noticed the article you started on the Louisiana Five. I've been meaning to start an article on that overlooked group of jazz pioneers-- I'm pleased you beat me to it! One point I'd like clarification on-- where is the information that Lada started the band in New Orleans in 1917 from? Secondly, although the Tag & Assess 2007 drive is now officially closed, you are very welcome to continue tagging and assessing until 31 January 2008. Any articles you tag and assess during this time will be credited fully to your tagging tally for further award purposes.

Thirdly, if you can find the time, it would be great to have your feedback/comments and participation in the recently-set-up Tag & Assess workshop The idea is to see what lessons we can learn from the 2007 drive to make the 2008 one more efficient and enjoyable.
