[edit] The time I met Cheryl Tiegs

I had the opportunity to meet Cheryl Tiegs about 3 years ago. I was working at the Blockbuster Video in Wayzata, MN, where Cheryl is living currently. I received a phone call from her office in CA saying that her rental would be returned late. At the time I was unaware of who she was. I asked my girlfriend and she got very excited and explained who she was to me. A few days later, Cheryl came in to Blockbuster personally to return he late movie and rent the movie "Buffalo '66." She was with who I THINK was Tony Peck, but I'm not sure about that (I can't find a picture of him anywhere to confirm.) I told her that my girlfriend loves her work, to which she replied, "And what about you?" I informed her of my previous obliviousness to who she is. With a smile she said, "At least he's honest." I finished checking out her movie and she left. That was my encounter with Cheryl Tiegs.

ISTR that the Dirk Diggler character in Boogie Nights had the Cheryl Tiegs pink bikini poster on his bedroom wall. Yes/no? Aside from being the usual biography-cruft, it places Dirk in a certain temporal and mental space. 207.174.201.18 20:59, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
