Jacques Roser was my uncle. Many stories were told in our family of how Jacques invented the Chef's Salad at the Hotel Pennsylvania in NYC. Another uncle had one of Jacque's HP menus from the early 1930's (1934?) which showed his "Chef's Salad." Sorry, I have no better attribution than this. Where can we find HP menu's from that era?
