The Chestnut-capped Babbler (Timalia pileata) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Timalia. It is found in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam.
