From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] Controversy

The 'new' bus station is seen as controversial by many. Amongst the complaints are that the new building contains no toilet facilities (other than a 20p 'portaloo' style unit), no shop, cafe or vending facilities & no waiting area to speak of. The buliding cost an estimated £500,000 & is seen by most as in no way an improvement on the previous building other that it being more structually sound & more modern looking.
