[edit] Formation

Cherry Been'z (written as CHerry Been'z in Japanese promotional materials) was originally formed by high school classmates Azusa Matsunari on vocals, Naoko Iwakura on bass, and Shiori Kashima on drums. In the fall of 2004 a man listed as Toeda joined the band on guitar and 2005 marked the band's beginning as a full-time project. Toeda is no longer with the band and as such Cherry Been'z is currently looking for a new guitarist. They are based in the city of Hachiōji, itself located within the Tokyo metroplex, and play in the metropolitan and surrounding suburban areas.

[edit] "Song" -ography

Currently Cherry Been'z has two released songs, "reflected" and "Won't Forget," available in a variety of formats, including a demo CD and downloads for users of the Japanese cell phone companies NTT DoCoMo and au. Both songs may also be listened to on the Japanese music site audioleaf and "reflected" may be downloaded there for free. "Won't Forget" is also featured on the Buddy Records Sampler, Vol. 2, which in turn may also be purchased in its entirety or piecemeal on the Japanese iTunes Store.
