Chelsea Jeanette Wilson (born June 19, 1987 in Sacramento, California[1]) is best known for playing the character of Parker on Lizzie McGuire.

Wilson was born and raised in Sacramento. When she was little she enjoyed acting in theater at school and in local community theaters. After that she moved on to local professional theater. She got her start in television through an audition sponsored by Media Artists Group. She went on to do some minor TV work, including two episodes of L.A. 7 in 2000, a BBC television series which starred British pop group S Club 7. She won the part of Parker McKenzie on the Lizzie McGuire show when she was 13. After the show ended in 2003, she pulled back from acting to focus on her schooling. In 2005 she studied English at USC with a double major in journalism.
