Chechiş, Sălaj

Chechiş (Hungarian: Kettosmezo) is a village in Bălan Commune, Sălaj County, Romania. It is situated on the Almaş River (a tributary of the Someş River), flowing through the Almaş valley. Chechiş is part of the Meseş ethnographic zone.
