Marsha J. O’Brien (born January 6, 1945 in Long Beach, California, USA) is a personal health consultant (specializing in stress management and relaxation techniques), an author([1], life fitness trainer, a lecturer, and has recently released her first relaxation CD.[(http://jett.net/~mo]).

After a lengthy interview with Marsha, Shannon Calder, Record Searchlight Reporter, led her story with this quotation: “ Marsha J. O’Brien of Redding, California, may have a healthier outlook on life and general attitude than anyone else I have ever met. We could learn a lot from her.”

Marsha’s career in fitness and health began in her twenties. She had dreamed of becoming a nurse, but at some point decided to pursue the preventative side of health and wellness. She became a high intensity aerobics instructor, manager and director for health clubs in California. She opened the first fitness studio in the Canyonville and Myrtle Creek area of Southern Oregon.

For over 30 years has continued her education in stress management and over all health for the “mind, body, and spirit.” Marsha has arrived at some simple but life altering techniques, observations and realizations that came through her many years of working with clients and studying the wisdom of the ages. In her 5-year run television series The Master's Method, Marsha taught stress management and relaxation and how to transform the natural stress that comes from living into energy capable of improving our physical and spiritual well being throughout our lives and well into old age. Marsha's recently published a book "Once She was Young - the Loss of a Mother, the Growth of a Daughter". Barne's and Noble book store held a very successful book signing for Marsha in northern California and made it available on line. It is complete with easy instruction, three great relaxations and original music. The relaxations include tips on how to recognize tension as it begins, and how to aleviate it. Currently Marsha works as a life coach and helps clients transform their life through stress management and relaxation techniques.
