[edit] Note For Admins
Comments from any sock being operated by an endless parade of obsessive sockpuppets are still unwanted here. More information on this longtime internet menace is available upon request. - Chadbryant 01:16, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Archiving Is an Excellent Idea
Now, we can put the past behind us and start anew, my friend. Linden Arden 01:38, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Co-operative and harmonious editing
Hi Chad, I want to draw you attention to the post below from my talk page, and I hope that this good gesture will be able to open a smoother path for the future. We're all on the same side at the end of the day! Tyrenius 01:40, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- ==Would You Be Interested in...==
- ...Acting as a conduit between myself and Chadbryant with the express goal of brokering a peace between the two of us? I would like nothing more than for Chadbryant to consider me not an antagonist, but just another editor in the wider scope of Wikipedia. I sincerely believe that we are not enemies, but fellow men working toward the same goals: Knowledge and truth. Linden Arden 01:19, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion of comment
You are not allowed to delete other people's comments in this way, nor to label them as harrassment. It is a statement of intent to co-operate and you should assume good faith. That is an official policy on wikipedia. Please study it. No one is going to be allowed to harass anybody. At the moment by doing this, you become the wrong-doer. That is just not smart. Tyrenius 02:17, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Well then, all you've got to do is keep cool till, and if, he does. If anyone harasses, they will be blocked. Simple as that. I'm watching out for this situation, and it's in your interest to co-operate and not try to solve it yourself, because that will only backfire. You haven't got any admin power, so what can you do? Lash out, and then you'll be the troublemaker. It's your shout, Chad. I'm offering to help. Take advantage of that if you wish. Tyrenius 03:17, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:WCW Disney tapings
Please comment.[1] Thanks. Tyrenius 21:07, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Personal attack
You are allowed to remove blatant abuse like the recent post. Tyrenius 02:50, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tea for you, too? :-)
Chad, it's a shame some people misuse Wikipedia for personal attacks. Rest assured, it's not going unnoticed and it will get better. As a recent victim myself, I know how difficult it is. Stay calm and try not to retaliate, the karma police will get your abusers :-) Onward and upward, my friend, onward and upward! Congirl 14:14, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WWE Undisputed Championship
Yes, there is a way of protecting this from new and anonymous users, and I have done so. I hope this is a temporary thing, but my Spidey sense tells me that this will not. --Deathphoenix ʕ 04:54, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, WWF, I get it. Hardy har har. Looking at the history of World Wide Fund for Nature, it doesn't seem to be a persistent problem, so the best we can do is just to keep warning the IP and issue a block once the warning gets to a test3 or test4. Or, if it's not simple vandalism, once again, we need to go into dispute resolution. FWIW, I think the anon is incorrect because I don't see any citations of any sort. --Deathphoenix ʕ 12:55, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Legal threats
I'm sorry you're being harassed again. However, at the moment there is no policy about activities that take place off-wiki, except if an individual links to them from wiki. Furthermore, there is no way of telling if someone on another site using the same name as a wiki editor is the same individual. I can assure you that the suggestion that I am intending to get you permanently banned has no truth in it whatsoever. Tyrenius 08:57, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User:TruthCrusader & Threats of Legal Action
Allow me to bring this to your attention. I do believe this could be a violation of WP:LEGAL. - Chadbryant 08:05, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
1. That isn't me and you know it. 2. That is outside Wikipedia. 3. My real posting IP is available for anyone to see if they email me..well, except for you of course. TruthCrusader 09:26, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
There's no proof that this is actually ThruthCrusader, and in any case, this happened outside of Wikipedia, and therefore outside of our jurisdiction. --Deathphoenix ʕ 12:03, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User:24.215.152.197 reported for WP:3RR on World Wide Fund for Nature
Thanks for the note, but I don't check 3RR violations, so I don't need to know. I'm sure the admins that oversee 3RR will be able to handle the situation without my help. Thanks, Deathphoenix ʕ 11:45, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Linden Arden
Chad, a little respite would be welcome. It is on an admin's talk page, so I'm sure he will be able to deal with it himself. Tyrenius 17:03, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for keeping me informed. However, could I please be allowed to make up my own mind as to its implication. I don't need to be told, "It certainly doesn't look like the work of someone interested in mending fences, especially when you've already told him to back off." That is, in my opinion, unnecessary. It's in your best interest to present the facts and let others make the judgements, or you run the risk of being culpable of attacks yourself. Tyrenius 17:14, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] TruthCrusader
Well, he seems to have thought better of it, which is fortunate. Tyrenius 17:28, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photo
Arden blocked for a month. Dude indef blocked as abusive sock. Sorry you've had this abuse. Tyrenius 03:43, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
I can delete it right now, but then it loses the evidence for unblock-request admin to look at. I am happy to leave a note certifying that it is the same photo as on your site, and it can always be retrieved after deletion. Let me know what you prefer. Tyrenius 04:48, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:Chud Manzier
I don't think that's enough evidence to reliably label him as a Linden Arden sockpuppet. Believe me, I fully believe that this guy is a sockpuppet, but given the lack of contributions on this account, it's not easy to tell who the puppetmaster is. I'd rather just leave his user page blank. --Deathphoenix ʕ 00:44, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] World Wide Fund for Nature
You have been reported for violating WP:3RR Sasaki 22:44, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
- The reports above have been filed by an inexperienced editor who has started edit wars on two separate articles by continuing to insert text that violates WP:MOS, the standards agreed to on WP:PW, or are otherwise inaccurate. These reports should be judged accordingly. - Chadbryant 23:54, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User:Sasaki
Not proved sockpuppetry at the moment. I have left a warning for user. Tyrenius 00:24, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
From User talk:Sasaki:

- Yes, I apologise that it casts an aspersion. I've unfortunately had to get into the habit of constantly blocking sockpuppets attacking Chadbryant. I suggest that you make sure nothing you do could be construed as harassing or attacking him. It's a dangerous game. Tyrenius 02:17, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Tyrenius 02:19, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Subnets
Sorry, can't help - I don't do subnets. Please report to WP:AIV. Also never allude to real life identities of users, or you will get into big trouble. Tyrenius 03:25, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Still don't use, as it's a living person who is not editing under that name currently. You are identifying yourself currently on your home page as Mr Bryant. Tyrenius 03:54, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 3rr block
You've been here long enough to know what is and isn't vandalism. I'm sorry you've had a hard time, and maybe that's stopped you assuming good faith but you've broken the three revert rule far too much. A 48 hour block for your edits to World Wide Fund for Nature --Robdurbar 12:22, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vic Grimes
I just can't get through to user JB196. He continues to revert the article, reducing its quality claiming that he is not credited as "The Author" in the article itself. The issue is being brought up here [3] help would be greatly appreciated. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:13, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ROH world title
Not sure if this changes your mind, but ROH's website now does NOT use the word "heavyweight. I think WP is the only site left that does. Tromboneguy0186 21:46, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Randy orton
i'm getting sick of this, why is it you makes these rules up but you only apply it to randys page not any of the others, theres pages on other wrestlers that have 7/8 pictures and you havent done nothing same with there links yet again you dont nothing you only change randys page, until you apply the so called rules to all the toher pages then i will not accept it and will add them back on randys page.Lil crazy thing 20:58, 14 September 2006 (UTC) i have justified the pictures, the youngesy champion one, the first time he appears on smackdown since 2002 and the first tim he appear on his own on a promtional poster, i think thats pretty justified. You have removed pictures from very few pages theres pages that have 7/8 pictures you havent removed them, theres plenty of wrestlers bios that include more pictures thats on randys page and are not in any way justified. Randys page is getting very often singled out for everything and its getting very annoying.Lil crazy thing 06:17, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- You most certainly do not control the pages on wiki and I thought the way you got rid of this girl's pictures and the accusations you were making about them being way too much was despicable. I don't think they were way too much at all. I think you need to learn how to be less controlling TareTone 11:50, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- Wiki's aim in due course is to get rid of all fair use images. At the moment they should be used as a last resort and very sparingly. Tyrenius 16:21, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please consult WP:3RR
Because you insist on reverting to a previous version for no valid reason, you are in danger of violating WP:3RR on Triple H. Please consult that policy.
- Edits to remove images, but nothing else is a revert. --Mikedk9109 23:18, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Triple H
I replaced one of the fair use images in the article with a free use image from the Commons, which should hopefully end the debate over how many WWE images to include. I don't really have a position either way on the question of whether or not to include the "member of D-X" blurb in the opening paragraph. McPhail 00:06, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User notice: temporary 3RR block
[edit] Regarding reversions[4] made on October 7, 2006 to John Cena
| You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. |
[edit] 3RR
You are clearly aware of the WP:3RR policy as you have been blocked for this multiple times. Yet you continue with your violations. This one has netted you a one week block. You are welcome to resume editing once the block expires but any further 3RR blocks will result in a much longer block. Additionally, please do not add images to articles without providing the mandatory information such as a detailed fair-use rationale. --Yamla 22:43, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Effective Immediately
I will no longer be editing or participating in discussions concerning articles related to professional wrestling. As long as marks and fangirls are allowed to violate WP:OWN, WP:FUC, WP:LIVING, and a whole host of other Wikipedia policies and guidelines, there is no sense subjecting myself to harassment from them and misguided admins in order to keep articles regarding a business I have worked in for over six years from devolving into the kind of markcruft that is typical of most wrestling content on the internet. I have removed all wrestling-related articles from my watchlist. - Chadbryant 23:31, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
You were caught setting up an abusive sockpuppet and continuing to edit Wikipedia articles while blocked. This is completely unacceptable. Any further instances may result in a much longer block or a permanent ban. Wikipedia will not tolerate such abusive behaviour. As this is the first time you were found doing this, your one week block timer has been reset. --Yamla 15:04, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- Scratch that. I see you have been caught using sockpuppets before. You are blocked indefinitely and are not welcome to contribute to the Wikipedia while this block remains in effect. You can contest the block using {{unblock|Reason for unblock}}. --Yamla 15:06, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
I have not used any sockpuppets, and I request that any suspected sockpuppets be RFCU'ed against this account.
- Your account has been unblocked but you will still have to sit out the 7 day block for your continued 3RR violations. --Yamla 21:46, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- Shouldn't the block only be for the remainder of the original week? My block should not be extended simply because I was mistakenly blocked for something I did not do. I would also appreciate having the "sockpuppet" accusations removed, since the account suspected of my "sockpuppeteering" is User:65.31.99.71, an anonymous editor in Wisconsin. - Chadbryant 21:52, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- The one-week block for 3RR was placed this morning, I believe. Please let me know if this is not the case. I will remove the sockpuppet notice from Twentyboy and 65.31.99.71 but that leaves two for which I am not responsible. --Yamla 22:24, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- This is the original block:
- 16:41, 10 October 2006 Yamla (Talk | contribs) blocked "Chadbryant (contribs)" with an expiry time of 1 week (Yet another 3RR violation)
- - Chadbryant 22:51, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
