Time to write a little about myself, I think!
What to say? I, Charles Alexander MacKenzie, was born April 12, 1988, in Glasgow, Scotland (making me an Aries). I own (or should that be, 'am owned by'?) a cat (ginger), called Guile. I am male, straight, and agnostic. I play the guitar (badly), and try to write my own songs (to disastrous results). I can write HTML, but not fantastically. I do not (and will not. Ever) use the metric system, as it is evil. My mother is a secular Jew, but I don't (and have never) practiced any form of Judaism, though I respect my heritage and often think about giving it a go. I am proudly Scottish.

• Anime & manga, including: Cowboy Bebop; Tenchi Muyo; Excel Saga; Sailor Moon, especially Sailor Venus; Gunsmith Cats, but not the anime; Wish; Outlaw Star; Azumanga Daioh (just the manga); and The Big O. I am also a fan of Ken Akamatsu, and love Love Hina, both anime and manga (and was one of the drunken crew that learnt all the words to the anime's theme song that fateful night...). I also enjoy Negima!.
• Video games, including: The Shenmue series; Street Fighter; the Metal Gear Solid series; The Legend of Zelda series; Goldeneye 007; Conker's Bad Fur Day; the Megaman series; the Sonic the Hedgehog series; and the Super Mario series.
• Folk music (particularly Jackson C. Frank), and music in general.
• My cat.
• Reading & writing.
• Futurama.
• Japan.
• Having a laugh.
• Peep Show.

• Stupid, generic comedy films, like You, Me and Dupree that are so typical of this generation.
• Cold baths and very hot weather.
• Emo (both the music and the culture).

• The imperial system - metric is superior in every way.
• When vandalism has been reverted, but the culprit hasn't been warned – what's that all about?
