I;m bored. and due to weather, I might have to take my English Finalk today instead of tomorrow. Meh, it's an essay, so no biggie.

This place is much more steril than the Cantina. I wonder why that it.

Virv, could I see about adding your icy field pic to the Finland page on Wikipedia, so I can get some contributions in?

But, alas, England in Christmas time. Much prefer Scotland. My teacher drewe if for me when I was sick, my friend was the only one that saved me from having to do another country.

Oh, and for some reason, I only get 30 minuites a day on the computer now, when it doesn't deal with home work.

That is not enough time whatso ever to be able to write, or make sure the cantina is running smoothly. It's the only place where I am sociable, for it's the only place with people I truely like (other than family), that understand me (if that's possible) and share common intrest. I mean, out here...I may get a few Star Wars....zero Trek, one Gate, and zilch on Doctor Who....At the cantina, with you guys,

Rose- Stargate, Star Trek, Star Wars...other things if I can think of them.... Zif- Startgate, Star Wars, Doctor Who....books.... Virv- Star Wars, Guild Wars (hint hint, Joe is also letting me use his profile since he doens't play anymore)

Oh, and both of you, Rose and Virv, suck with me more than the others...even than Ziffy some...but alas...it was not meant to be....

Virv, there was a character in a book I just finished that reminded me of you some...it was a new Star Trek, 20 years of TNG, but the 2nd ic, she is calling people love, and so cheerful (married to a professor she was, and you do know what Ziffy is going for.... *;)*)

Good book, Q&A....deals with the End of the Universe, which Q is pretty much having Picard stop from happening.

Very good book, now you might have something to read Rose dear.

I think I might know why I love the cantina, writing, reading, and playing games....

life is boring and mundane for me. I get up, take a shower, get dressed, go to school, Band-English-Advisory-Library-Theater-library-Goverment-Biology-BCIS, home...five days a week....some variation, but still, mundane, routine, boring. Breif flashes of difference in my life was very much welcome. But they don't often come in a fashion I enjoy. I mean, other than new shows or episodes, or new movies, but still, all boreing. But still, when they are good (Matrix, Stargate, other sci-fi) they allow me a brief respite from the ordianary and mundane.

But they aren't the same as the aformentioned things.

The Cantina, I am, who I am. I am not as held back in all my ways. I am mex10. Plus the immortality and the swords, that's what I want. Adventure. Something new, not mundane.

Writing, I place myself as the character, and escape, somplace else, doing something extraordinary.

Reading, I am able to seek out new life, fight wars (or see them fought), see places that doen't exist. VISIT THE END OF THE UNIVERSE!

Games, well, you know all about those. Doing things we would never be able to do elsewhere. Fighting criminal undergrounds armed only with a shotgun, pistol, and two swords. Or fighting off an alien threat and saving the universe. Or runnng around beautiful fields and killing monsters, saving people.

That is why 30 minutes a day is not enough.

Life, I need something new. My senior year. Nothing is truely new with that. It's just another year of School, with the same people, at the same building with the same teachers. Sure we're learning new things, but still, its boring and mundane.

That's why I just want the year to be over, College, something new. New place, new people, new teachers, harder classes....perhapes not having to get up at 6 in the morning....

just one more semester, and then a new life....for seven years or so....then...being a professor....for how long?

Life gets boring, mundane and old, books, games, writing, does not.
