[edit] "Stupid edit war"
Fair enough, stop the stupid edit war. Instead, I'll bring the discussion here. Can you please explain why you're reverting good edits?
1 - Timelines should start with the oldest at the top. Look at the Wikipedia:Timeline standards guidelines as I suggested in the edit summary. Every football featured list is this way, and others should follow those same standards. Just because UEFA Cup was/is wrong - I tried to also correct that, but it was also reverted back. 2 - Scores should use unspaced endashes. See WP:DASH 3 - Years should also use unspaced endashes. Again see WP:DASH. And what relevance does linking to 1965, have on the Champions League final? None, I would suggest.
Instead of reverting, good edits in line with policy, can you please give good reasoning for the reversions here. Thank you. Peanut4 (talk) 11:34, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- I am not going to revert anymore because this is not a big issue, but I will say what I have been saying which is: A) recent seasons at the top because readers are more likely to click on recent seasons than seasons from the 1950's B) the old version looks better especially on a low resolution screen, also the small font with the word Details underneath the years looks more proper.
Unfortunately the UEFA Cup article's list currently looks A LOT better than this list for the more important tournament. I wish they would look the same.--Tocino 02:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
