[edit] Not an advert
This article, like all articles at Wikipedia, is not an advert or a leaflet. I'll be replacing some of the deleted material. Paul Beardsell 18:44, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
I take your point, Mr Beardshell, and left your re-edits intact for a month while I thought about it. However, the eccentric activities are not so much part of the curriculum as occasional happenings involving a minority of pupils. The TV folks were keen to represent this as normal everyday life at the school (in fact, the main activities of the boys after they have done their normal lessons, are football and sitting in front of a computer. But you wouldn't have guessed this from the programme.)
I have now edited the text. I have not removed mention of any of the activities you wanted to highlight, but have added more to put them in context, and in doing so hope I have given a fuller picture of the College.
In the coming months I'd like to put in some more information (under other articles, perhaps) to inform users about Father Louis-Marie Baudouin and some of the other more arcane points of French nineteenth century history. Hope this is OK. I just added some interesting historical background. But I forgot to log in. I am CHAVAGNES, as before. Sorry. 193.252.13.109 09:50, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
