I believe that the treatment of Chauncey Wright should be extended in relation to his contributions to the birth and evolution of later American pragmatism. This is particularly true in terms Wright's influence on James and Pierce. The current, over-simplistic account Wright's vita doesn't recognise Wright's contribution as sufficiently as he rightly deserves.
