Top things I like about Chatteris :

1: The butchers of Park Street , some of nicest meats I have ever tasted in my life. All butchered the traditional way , all meat is local

2: The Christmas lights ! - people come from miles around to see these , they are a testiment to the community spirit as they are fully funded by the people of the town through collections. There are more lights in Chatteris at Christmas than there is in Cambridge.

3: Driving towards it the first time down the A141 - the flat straight road and the flat landscape really give you the correct impression you are heading off to somewhere remote.

[edit] Chatteris isn't the highest point in Cambridgeshire

The Wikipedia entry for Cambridgeshire identifies Great Chishill as being the highest point, and whether or not this is true, it is certainly a lot higher than Chatteris. The Ordnance Survey Get-a-Map online feature can be used to check the heights.
