[edit] Size of board
The article states that the board of seven officials is composed of three specific officials and either two or four others. What happens if there are just two others — are there more specific officials, or are there just five officials total, or is it done otherwise? Regardless, this should be fixed by someone who knows more than I do. Nyttend 01:00, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've updated this. A charter township must have seven board members. General law townships can have either five or seven board members. I cited an MTA publication for this. The relevant statutes are dispersed through several sections of the Michigan Compiled Law and suffer from the typical deficiencies of legalistic language. older ≠ wiser 01:23, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
