After writing the Nicolas Denys bio, I came to realize just how much 'discussion' there can be between the roles of La Tour, d'Aulnay and all them in what really happened in the New World. Websites are very suspect of content. Primary sources are also suspect, depending on the writers' points of view. I hope I fleshed out a little more about the rivalries. LTC David J.
