"While some vocal residents feel that the district doesn't do enough or does the wrong things, few Charles Villagers call for its outright abolition (a candidate running for the Baltimore City Council on just that platform received less than a hundred votes at a recent election)."

Is this a sideways way to express that the issue of CVCBD dissolution is a non-starter? I don't think the factual statement is all that well tied to the parenthetical one about how many votes a candidate gets in a city election. Thoughts?

it strikes me that some mention needs be made of the history of the neighbourhood. i'm guessing it's somewhat different now than when i lived there in 1968-9, and a particular aroma was detectable from every other open window (my own included).many baltimore neighbourhoods have undergone significant evolution (e.g. bolton hill)in the past 30-40 years, and this , i think, wouild be of interest.Toyokuni3 (talk) 23:12, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
