[edit] What cured him?

So ... what finally cured him of his hiccups?

[edit] Disambiguation

This Charles Osborne needs to be disambiguated from the author(s) called Charles Osborne (see pages linking here). ChKa 20:48, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Some closure

Is there any record of how he reacted to no longer hiccuping? That's the part that seems like it would be most interesting.

[edit] causality implied?

"stopping on June 5, 1990, after his daughter, Melissa, prayed for him" -- I think this wording suggests a causal relationship between the stopping of his hiccups and his daughter's prayer. Correlation does not imply causation. I'd like to see a reliable source claiming it stopped because of her prayer, or the sentence reworded. --Bernard Marx 13:52, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

In the article, it says

Despite his condition, Osborne was able to lead a stupid life, which included being married twice and having fifty children.

Is this correct? It says the same thing in the permanent version, but it doesn't look right, especially the part about being stupid and having fifty children.
