[edit] Speedy delete

I have added more info since this was db'd. Marowitz is clearly notable, but if you want to send this through AfD, that's fine. Jokestress 02:58, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Marowitz and Brook

Marowitz compiled a "Lear Log" while serving as assistant director on Peter Brook's 1962 production of "King Lear" at the royal Shakespeare theatre. This log is "salient excerpts which reflect the problems and curiosities which emerged during the rehearsal period. (212.169.1.198 08:27, 28 June 2007 (UTC))

[edit] "Best known"?

That statement was inaccurate. I deleted the ref. to "best known"; Marowitz is perhaps best known as a critic. He is also known as a director. He is not "best known" for being the playwright of that play. This stub needs dev. (see the additonal ext. link posted for some useful well-sourced information). --NYScholar 00:55, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
