Removed the three paragraphs that were added in the latest addition as they were nothing more than polemic and brought nothing to the article. The formatting also left something to be desired. --Si42 22:14, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
- True, it wasn't a great piece of writing, written in great haste. I do think I have a valid point though. House prices have forced a lot of people out of the area and the community has suffered because of this. Swanky cafes and bars and an influx of young professionals are not necessarily what make a real community. I find the whole 'Chapel A' stuff really twee and the whole marketing of Chapel Allerton as a trendy place to live a bit depressing and snobbish, I also can't stick pompous radio four comedy game shows like 'Just a Minute' and Betty's tea shops really annoy me as well. I do, however, genuinely like wheat beer.
- Ha, yeah I'm not entirely sure what makes a 'real community'... I do sympathise with your point, but it would have made more sense here - I don't really like the last couple of sentences as they stand either (they do feel a bit like an ad placed by an estate agent).
