[edit] "Slopendicular"??
Where did this come from? Is there any evidence at all for such a term? And do we really think stuff about a rope bridge in a small play park that's no longer there (the rope bridge not the park) belongs in an encyclopaedia? If that plus the fact that there are some tea-shops was all there was to say about Chalford, it wouldn't really deserve an entry of its own at all. What about churches, schools, railway, cloth trade, history, history of the name Chalford, prehistory, Chalford Hill, France Lynch, etc etc etc? Flapdragon 11:17, 15 August 2005 (UTC)
- You are of course right. Soemone else put that in and a quick search for slopendicular + Chalford gives 1 link, to this page. Someone's idea of a joke? Anyway, i've added a History section. --Celestianpower hab 11:35, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

- Good stuff -- but don't forget that when you take stuff from people's websites you're supposed to reword it so as to avoid copyright violations! Flapdragon 12:17, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] References
A few more inline citations would make this interesting article even more useful. Some say ... others say ... is a bit vague for an encyclopedia! If all this is taken from the history website in Resources, fine: after all, WP isn't meant to include any original research (see WP:NOR). Please just make it clear where the content comes from. --NigelG (or Ndsg) | Talk 15:07, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
